‘Art is an extension of who I am’.

I am Welsh born and arrived in Australia in 1978. After spending most of my career in an Administration role it was in 2008 that my art journey blossomed. Since then I have become a prolific painter finding inspiration from my emotions and surroundings where I live in the Blue Mountains of Australia.

On entering local exhibitions I was honoured to be awarded the Rose Lindsay Art Prize at the Springwood Art Show in 2011. Besides selling nationally and internationally I have had works published in Narrator Australia and featured on the cover and inside of Artist Palette Magazine Issue 118. I have available on line my book Essence of Australia at: http://au.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/1466296 full of paintings and poetry that makes a fabulous souvenir or coffee table book.

Invited to hold my first solo show at The Olde Block Gallery in Faulconbridge proved a great success with many sales and my art journey is growing. I have now seen my dream of owning my own studio/gallery come true as I opened the doors in April 2013.

My online gallery showcases a variety of paintings from realism to inspiring, imaginary watercolour and ink works. I would describe it as a celebration of Australia and a colourful journey into the heart and soul of an artist. Commissions are welcome.
